Lighting Workshops

The biggest demand by schools that use our services is a two day intensive workshop containing the following:

- Rig design
- Rigging and focusing
- Health and safety requirements
- Design principles including use of colour, angle and intensity
- Equipment maintenance
- Cue sheets
- Operating manual and computerised lighting boards
- Designing with moving lights

This two day workshop can be undertaken by teachers and/or students and is held at your school, though it may be possible to set up the course within our own facilities if you desire. All the equipment used is supplied, though we are happy to tailor the course to equipment the school already possesses. It is also possible that the workshop can be reduced to a single day, though this will obviously cover for less.

We also provide consultancy for schools seeking to improve their technical facilities. We will provide you with a range of solutions and are happy to use our contacts to help overcome financial constraints.

Performance Support
We are able to provide staff to assist in supporting all kinds of performances whether examination or curriculum based. This can be in the form of staff/student training or we are able to design, rig and operate the shows for you.
